Brief #15 - Entertainment

One of the things that is most popular with the Millenial generation is challenges. There have been challenges that bring awareness to several different issues from medical issues and diseases, social unrest, police brutality, and corruption; some of the challenges we do are not as politically justifiable though.
There have been challenges where people record themselves trying to swallow cinnamon, there are challenges where people just dance and everyone does the same dance and remixes it, and one of the newest includes a soundbite from a well known reknowned gospel singer Pastor Shirley Ceaser preaching about what the lord has given her i.e (beans, greens, tomatos, potatos, ram, lamb, chicken, dog, #younameit) and our generation has found a way not only to turn it into a song, but to also dance to it.
Here's the Millenial Remix.
Vibe covered the story and voiced Shirley Ceaser's opinion and feelings about "going viral". In an interview to vibe Mrs. Ceaser said, "I was out in the middle of the ocean, and one of the members from my church showed it to me,” she said. “I was so shocked to see them dancing and boogeying… the Lord is so good to me… to come home and millions are listening to the song…"
